A Grateful Heart

It is with a grateful heart that we thank you, who have supported The James Project. Whether you gave of your time, finances or prayers we do appreciate YOU.  During our first six months The James Project was able to assist seven families going through the adoption process.  We aided in their fees, travel expenses, and even bought a few diapers.  As a board of directors we were privileged to read each adoption journey and found one common thread.  Every family was stepping out in faith to adopt a child from a hard place and because of your support we were able to bless them for their obedience.  Praise God!

One family wrote…  “Our purpose in adopting is not to grow our family, out of guilt, or solely because we met a beautiful child that we cannot get out of our hearts.  Our goal in adoption is not so that they can grow up and live the “American Dream”, but so that by God’s grace they can know HIM.  Running water, medical care and education are important, but hearing the good news of salvation is infinitely more precious.”  -Jenna, Grant Recipient.   Another wrote…  “We received a referral for an 18 month old little boy in Columbia the day I was preparing our grant application.  As we waited for more information and prayed about a decision, we received word that we would receive this grant and it just solidified our belief that this little boy should be our son”.  -Heather, Grant Recipient.  Please remember The James Project in your end of year giving.  We know there are so many places for your tithes, and we ask that you consider our efforts this year.  We have so many more families to bless.
